“Om Sainathaya Namaha”
Doctors are “Human Beings” their only intention and focus is to help you to the best of their capabilities & situations.
As his Almighty’s design would destine, I never had to pay visit to any hospital, after my birth, for the next 46 years of my life for any minor or major health concern. So when I visited one regarding my ENT concern, it turned out to be a discovery of how medical profession is conducted. I was under the impression I had to meet an ENT doctor and he will do what is needful, I will be back to my routine in a few days. Simple. Slowly as the situation developed and a lot of opinions and advises started pouring in from lot of OTHERS. I came across:
The ENT Doctor & Surgeon – The Mainstay - He Said - “I will be your Sai Baba and take care of you, don’t worry.” I did not ever tell him that I follow Sai Baba. These words were very heavy for a human, but these words were planted there by Sai himself. I saw this truth later.
The Eye Doctor & Surgeon – We asked our Mainstay if we should consult an eye specialist as my eye was acting up. His answer was “It is up to you”. Since my left eye developed Proptosis & Diplopia, an MRI scan was taken to understand the cause, after which I was put on one week of intravenous antibiotic, twice a day, a week before surgery.
Head & Neck Oncologist – The Expert Opinion. To go through the MRI Scan and indicate if he felt, there was a possibility that the Tumor looked malignant. His opinion- it did not look malignant. This is 1 week before surgery. An endoscopic sample 15 days before surgery sent for biopsy; benign.
Maxillo-Facial Surgeon – The Doer. Looked at the MRI and said, “We may have to remove the margins if the Tumor were to be malignant, let us see.”
The Anaesthesiologist, ‘The Magician’ – I felt I was in the OT for about 30 minutes, when it was actually 8 hours.
The Homeopath – Family Medicine Man. Our entire family always believed that he had the cure for all illnesses. No convincing was required for following this path.
Ayurvedic Doctor – Of late Ayurveda was the way to go. Lots of advice to try this path. No side effects. Why not??
The Oncologist & Radiologist – God’s decision. Finally, had to see them for the final leg of the treatment.
So, The Mainstay, in accordance with Baba’s wish, introduced me to the right Eye Surgeon, who saved me from going blind in one eye by saving it with his expertise. He introduced me to the right maxillo-facial surgeon, with Baba’s gifted hands, my left side face bears no surgery marks and looks almost normal, free of malignant parts, finally The Mainstay stayed present during the critical surgery to oversee things himself. “Om Sai Ram”
Then came the choice of Oncologist for further treatment, we had two; one in Bangalore, the other in Hyderabad. Both the best in their trade and highly recommended. The dilemma of choice. Bangalore being the home choice was a no brainer. All our close friends, my surgeons, and well wishers advised that in such a condition it was best to be near your home. However, the choice was made by putting a Chit to Shri Sai and it was Hyderabad.

Shirdi Sai Temple – Apollo Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad
He was waiting in the Cancer Hospital, Hyderabad to take care of me.....
